Limited edition, second variation deluxe edition LP
Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
These copies were recently unearthed and new hand-made artwork has been individually made for each one. This record is unique for a myriad of reasons. Each track is a side-long piece strewn together from recording session outtakes, outdoor demos, live scraps, remixes and things we all really loved but never quite knew what to do with. It features Neptune's only "acoustic" porch track (with sirens in the background), a remix by our old pal Brenmar (Bill Salas, former These Are Powers percussionist) of a Gong Lake track making it the only neptune song to feature BONGOS!, live improvs, glass bells, sewer pipe percussion, scrap steel ukulele, and lots of other oddities. Features contributions from Kevin Micka (engineering, mixing and performing), Jessica Rylan, David Gerhard Utzinger and obscenities yelled by our dear friend Regina Greene. All of this was expertly woven together by Mark Willliam Pearson. Mastered by Scott Craggs at Old Colony Mastering. Pressed at Brooklyn Phono. This is a hand numbered edition of 100. Artwork includes spray paint, stencils, rubber stamps, lots of greasy various types of tape, razor cuts, hole-punches, a screen print by James Weinberg, antiquated office supplies, 3 inserts and 3 small pieces of art by each band member housed in a dusty manila envelope. Together it amounts to one beautiful mess of a package. This is the second variation of the original release which is a dual venture between Magnetism Crafts & Wrong Whole Archival Bureau originally issued in 2010. $25 plus $3 media mail shipping. Limited to 1 copy per customer.
Includes unlimited streaming of 18:40 / 19:19
